Guide Right

SERVICES

The Kappa League is an organization oriented toward helping young men of high school age to grow and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. It provides both challenging and rewarding experiences which richly enhance their lives. It is the purpose of the Orlando Alumni Chapter to help these young men to achieve worthy goals for themselves and to make constructive contributions to their community when leadership roles become their responsibility. The nucleus and primary focus of the Kappa League revolves around the “Seven Phases” which are:

Self-Identify

Discipline, assurance, awareness and appearance.

Training

Academic, career advancement and sports.

Competition

Politics, career advancement and sports.

Social

Communication, etiquette, and manners.

Health
Education

Physical education, sex education, drug education and health and safety.

I understand that the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated is not responsible for personal liability or loss of property and hold the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated harmless in the unlikely event of personal liability or loss of property.

In the event of an emergency and the inability of the officers of the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated to obtain my consent, I now grant permission and give consent for the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated to authorize any medical treatment or surgery that a medical doctor deems necessary for my child.

I wish to participate in the Orlando Alumni Guide Right/Kappa League program. I agree to obey the program's rules and understand that at any time, I can/will be expelled from the program for conduct that is detrimental to the program or other members.

Further, if I am approved for participation in the Orlando Alumni Chapter Guide Right/Kappa League program, I agree to comply with the rules and regulations.

I promise to be careful to prevent damage to any other buildings used while participating in activities with the Guide Right/Kappa League program.

I now request that sponsors, references, previous and current employers contacted by the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, and Orlando Alumni Guide Right/Kappa League program in connection with this application fully respond to all inquiries concerning me and expressly waive prior written notice of disclosure of information about my character, personnel record information, including disciplinary reports, letters of reprimand, or other disciplinary action. I now authorize my sponsors, references, and previous and present employers to give any information regarding me.

In consideration of the acceptance of my application, I release the Orlando Alumni Guide Right/Kappa League program, sponsors, references, and previous and present employers of any claimed liability arising from such response and disclosure.

I now represent that each answer to a question and all otherwise furnished information are true and correct. I further represent that such answers and information constitute a complete disclosure of my knowledge concerning the question or subject to which the answer or information relates. I understand that any incorrect, incomplete, false statement, or false information I furnished may result in automatic rejection.

Photo Release *

I grant permission and consent to the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated to use any photograph taken of my child for its website, marketing materials, and event signage to promote the Fraternity, the Chapter, and the Orlando Alumni Chapter Guide Right/Kappa League program.
